Brief
EXPAND9 is a company I founded in 2017, with a mission to design and develop software that people love to use. For the website, I required a design that was fresh, vibrant and inviting. In terms of function, the site needed a simple to use CMS for content updates and blogging.
Solution
To give users an enjoyable browsing experience, a plethora of colour was used throughout to help engage the viewer and pull them in further without distracting. As part of the information architecture, a simple navigation was designed to ensure users got to where they needed to be at any point in time.
WordPress was chosen as the CMS due to how easy it is to realise a design and develop a website that can be easily maintained and improved over time. From adding blog posts, full blown product pages that allow customisation at the per page level or adding a simple contact us page, it’s got it all.
Used in combination with Cloudflare ensures the site is both fast locally and globally, while being protected from the many common external threats appearing on the internet these days.
Outcome
To date the site has been a success helping visitors from across the globe, enquire, research, educate and purchase our products.
